"Mom, do you wanna make something?" I hear this daily from Lydia. She certainly takes after John in her interest for building/creating. It may be a fire, a train, a lego set or a birdhouse. Both her old and new teachers have commented on how much she enjoys creating. Megan

Two Peas in a Shed
How adorable is this photo John snapped of Lydia!?!?! The two of them are like two peas in a pod, rather "two peas in a shed." They have become work buddies transforming the shed into a modfied garage space, equipt with heater, pop music and two custom workbenches perfectly sized to each of them. Here is Lydia standing in front of her's. Megan

Road Sign Decor
John started collecting roadsigns on our weekend swap meet visits in San Diego. Unfortunately we no longer have a garage so we instead used the signs to decorate Jack's room. "I like it!" Jack says. As aside, Jack has now transitioned to a big boy bed! Megan

Freedom
See the small child across the street, collecting sticks on her own???? That's my Lydia and this photo was taken from my warm living room, watching her from window. Thanks to the security of base housing, Lydia has new-found freedom. This is a moment I dreamt about. Megan
Siblings!
Yesterday was National Sibling Day! Lydia and Jack really bonded on our trip to Alaska. There is still the occasional hair-pull but in general they are playing together more and more with each passing day. Lydia even claims that Jack is her "best friend." Megan

We've Moved
We FINALLY moved into our house on base on Friday!!! It was a long wait but so far seems worthwhile. Here is our 3 bedroom/1.5 bath duplex. The best part about the home is where it is situated-in a private spot overlooking a park and soccer field. Megan
