Jack's favorite place to play is Lucy's dog crate. It is dirty, but it makes him smile. So yes, I let him play in there. Megan

Still a Cutie
In an attempt to make life easier, I decided to give Jack a buzz cut myself. I already miss his golden locks. Can't wait for them to grow back. Megan

Pure Cuteness
For awhile now I have struggled to photograph Lydia. She moves a lot and doesn't like to look at the camera but she is so darn cute! This is a video that we took to send to Lydia's cousin, Nathan, while in Chicago. I have watched it every day, multiple times, since our trip. It makes me want to reach out and hug her. http://youtu.be/QKTkTPDTzlE

Weekend In the Windy City
We took to the skies again as a family to travel to Chicago for the weekend. Pop's condo was just as enjoyable as I remember - skyline view, big hot tub and the smell of chocolate coming from the neighboring factory. The Navy Pier offered us great entertainment, both with a Ferris wheel and children's museum. However, the highlight of the trip was spending time with Ahya, John's Grandmother. I particularly loved watching her share her lipstick with Lydia. Megan

My Sick Kiddos
Having a sick kid is rough, both for the child and the parents. This past week has been my first experience with two sick kids at the same time. I have wiped more snot than I ever thought possible. Sleeping has been difficult. Jack, in particular, wants attention constantly. We are quite the sad sight. Any day now they should be over this nasty bug. Please! Megan

Happy Birthday John!
John turned 35 on Saturday during ANOTHER San Diego heatwave. We kept cool and celebrated by having cake for breakfast (Lydia's idea) followed by Disney on Ice. I am thankful to be married to a man who celebrates his Birthday by treating his kids. Megan

It's No Wonder
It's no wonder why Jack is so motivated to move. He admires his sister all day and she doesn't stop moving! Jack has started taking walking steps, yay!!!! He also bounces when he hears music. Let's hope he has his Dad's dance moves. Megan
